The bus ministry is a tremendous soul-winning and outreach tool at Jireh Independent Baptist Church. Each week on Sunday mornings, our buses go out into the local rural areas, towns, and cities nearby and pickup children (and adults) from their homes and bring them to church.
On Sunday mornings the children attend Sunday School where they are divided into graded classes and are presented with Bible stories, crafts, and wholesome songs to learn. Adults riding on the bus can attend the regular church service.
Our bus workers and bus captains go out each Saturday to visit the riders and invite new ones to join us. During the bus ride, the bus captains lead the children in singing songs, playing games, and memorizing verses. Our current bus routes cover the areas listed below:
